    Tayside Carers Support held a conference in September 1999 on
    New Directions in the Treatment of Schizophrenia

    Their Multi Agency Awareness Day was held at the lecture theatre, Baluniefield Police Training Centre in Dundee on Saturday, 2nd September 2000.

    A second Awareness Day was held on 2nd December. A report will be published in due course.

    A conference called Making Things Better was held at Angus College Conference Centre Keptie Road, Arbroath on 1 March 2001

  • Tayside Carers Support is for carers of people with long-term mental illness in Dundee, Perth and Kinross, and Angus. The project aims to provide the support and services that people need to lead fulfilling lives in their own community.

    Carers Support hold group meetings on the first Wednesday of every month at Tayside Carers Support Project, 10 Constitution Road, Dundee from 7-9pm. Dundee - 1st Wed of month at 10 Constitution Road, 7.00 - 9.00 pm and 2nd Wed of month at Threshold Day Hospital 2.00 - 4.00 pm.

    Angus - 2nd Tuesday of month at Bruce House Arbroath, 7.00 - 9.00 pm and last Thursday of month at PRT Carers Centre, Arbroath 2.00 - 4.00 pm.

    Perth and Kinross - 2nd Monday of month at Gateway centre, Perth 7.00 - 9.00 pm. We also organise six-week information and education sessions for carers in Dundee, Angus, and Perth and Kinross.
