Stigma and mental illness

NSF (Scotland) has always confronted the challenge of stigma and its effect on mental illness.

These pages will be developed and expanded over the coming months.

[people too] - now launched as 'See Me'

There's a new organisation dedicated to tackling stigma in which NSF (Scotland) has come together with other organisations. Called [people too] - including the square brackets - it's lead by Linda Dunion.

Conference on Stigma in Leipzig

The University of Leipzig held the First International Congress on Reducing Stigma and Discrimination because of Schizophrenia, sponsored by the World Psychiatric Association, in Leipzig on 2-4 September 2001.
